Shire Music Theatre (formerly The Sutherland Shire Light Opera Company) has a long history in the Shire - over 30 years to be exact. 2004 marked our 30th year in Community Theatre. Each year we produce between 3 to 4 musical productions. In 2011, Shire Music Theatre is very proud to present SPRING AWAKENING, CABARET and SNOW WHITE AND THE PIRATE ADVENTURE (a new pantomime by Sally Redman) and in 2012 Shire Music Theatre is proud to present 13, LITTLE SHOW OF HORRORS and RENT. These up-market events vary greatly in style ranging from Cabaret, Classical/Operetta to Broadway Melodies. To help grow the company, we are constantly on the lookout for new members of all ages and levels of experience.
