Miss Christina Michelle Gideon, the daughter of Roshonda and James Gideon, is a junior at West Forsyth High School in Cumming, Georgia. She discovered her passion for performing at a young age and has trained in hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theater. Christina has performed in six musical productions. She participated on her school dance teams competing in hip-hop and jazz. Christina appeared as a background extra in the film Our Little Secret and performed live on television for the Shuler Awards. She is an active member in her church, participating on the Praise Dance Team, completing Confirmation and being awarded the Esther Award. Christina is a member of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, National Technical Honor Society, International Thespian Society and Black Student Union. She aspires to attend a historically black college or university—Spelman College, Florida A&M University or Howard University—and pursue pre-medical studies.
