Jaime is an actor, director and producer with over 20 years of experience. Originally from Spain and now based in New York City, Jaime has worked in several feature films, such as 12+1, a metaphysic comedy and Libera-T, and well known TV shows, such as Arrayan, El comisario, and Yo soy Bea. However, most of his acting experience has been in theater and worked in street shows like Caligula, historical dramas like El Silence del Mar, avant-garde comedies like La Vetlla Funebre, novel adaptations like The Congo Syndrome (from Joseph Konrad’s The Heart of Darkness), El Quijote, socially compromised plays like Apple of my Eye or Hit the Road, Jack only to highlight some.
Graduated in Acting for Physical Theater at the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona, Jaime has continued his educational formation attending numerous workshops on clowning, buffoonery, Commedia dell'Arte and puppeteering with masters Norman Taylor, Anton Valén and Jorge Picó. Jaime also studied Audiovisual Communication at the Open University of Catalunya and in 2010 was granted with an Excellence Grant TALENTIA to graduate in Film Directing at the New York Film Academy of New York.
