Eric Fattah
ActorI have 10 years of experience in world class breath-holding and breath-hold diving, as well as extreme cold water immersion (naked skin).
I previously held a world record in the sport of freediving in 2001, diving unassisted on a single breath to 82m/269ft. I have won the Canadian National Championships twice, and have held numerous Canadian records for time, distance and depth. I have held my breath over 8 minutes under supervised conditions. I currently hold the record for the deepest 'exhale' freedive at 67m (see youtube video). I am also the only person in the world to ever dive to a depth of over 80m/262ft in icewater conditions without a wetsuit (May, 2005). I can do cold water stunts in water as cold as 4C/39F without any wetsuit.
I have been featured on CTV, CBC, Discovery Channel, the Weather Channel, in numerous news segments and documentaries. In 2001 a 30 minute documentary was made called 'Sinking into Darkness', concerning my quest for the freediving record.
I am available for any stunt or video work within my skillset.
