Stephen Mathis
ActorStephen Mathis was born in 1988 in Dallas, Texas. He was always interested in acting and film making, even from a young age. As a kid he would play with a video camera making small films and projects. When he got older he moved into true acting on his High School stage. He acted in such plays as Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Pygmalion, Guys and Dolls, and Crazy for You. In his senior year, Stephen created a short film called “Straight and Narrow” for a class project. This truly introduced Stephen to real film making and opened the door for his future career. In college Stephen continued to make short films and act on college and community stages around Denver. While in Denver, Stephen remade Straight and Narrow into a full feature film which introduced him to Caleb Spear who produced the film and included Stephen in the Third Dawn Entertainment company. Stephen now resides in Denver, CO. He has acted in over 10 plays and 3 films. He has directed 2 films to date and hopes to make more in the future.
