Holly Hunter has joined the cast of Tina Fey and Robert Carlock’s upcoming NBC comedy, the network announced Wednesday.
Hunter will star opposite “The Good Place” alum Ted Danson in the untitled series, which centers on a wealthy businessman who runs for mayor of Los Angeles “for all the wrong reasons.”
She will play Arpi, a longtime liberal councilwoman whose dedicated her life to the betterment of Los Angeles. She makes no secret of her disdain for the newly elected Mayor Bremer (Danson), whom she considers unqualified, sexist, and too tall to be trusted.
