Roger Sterling is having dinner with the owner of Lucky Strike, Lee Garner Jr. After some chitchat Lee Garner Jr tells Roger they are restructuring the company and he's dropping Sterling Cooper, Roger's advertising company that has been working with Lucky Strike for 30 years. Desperate, Roger Sterling begs Lee Garner Jr. to give him 30 days as he knows that losing this client means his company might be over.

LEE: "This pretty young thing, she didn't know what way to turn, my father on one end of the hall and my uncle on the other.."
ROGER: "Should have tried that move at Gettysburg."
LEE: "My grandpa fought the civil war."
ROGER: "Really? Where did he surrender?
LEE: (Laughs) "He never surrendered. That man could turn going to the shitter into a parade."
Lee Garner Jr grabs the bill.
ROGER: "What are you doing?"
LEE: "I'm getting this."
ROGER: "Why would you do that?"
LEE: "Sometimes a fella's got to pick up the check."
ROGER: "Since when?"
LEE: "You know that I like you, Roger. Hell, you're a genuine character."
ROGER: "uh oh..."
