DetailsSeason 1, Ep. 9, "Shoot" 10 minutes into the episode

Summary

In this episode Don Draper and his wife go to a concert and there they meet an executive from a larger ad agency, McCann Erickson, who tries to hire Don. To attract Don to his offer, he also offers Betty a modeling job. We find out Betty actually used to be a model years back and gave that up to raise a family.

In this monologue Betty is talking to her psychiatrist. She tells him about the modeling job offer and her past as a model. She tells him she actually met Don at a photo shoot. When the two got engaged, she gave up her career. Finally she tells him how her mother hated the fact that she was a model and considered her to be a "prostitute". As she lights a cigarette she tells him how she misses her mother, how she wanted her to beautiful so that she could find a man but didn't want her to pursue any career. Finally she ponders "but then what? Just sit and..smoke and...let it go till you're in a box?"......

Excerpt
BETTY DRAPER: "He gave me his card right in front of Don. Well, not right in front of him, I guess. Well, I told Don about it. I was a model, you know?In face I met Don at a photo shoot. I was wearing this Russian blue fox coat. He was just a copywriter at the fur company. I remember, he saw that I didn't like giving the coat back. It's always the hardest part. He asked me out. He wasn't shy. I liked that. I said no. Then three weeks later the coat arrived at my apartment. Who knows what kind of Indian trading he had to do to get it? I think I only had two more jobs, maybe three......"

As I'm guessing most already probably know "face" should be "fact". I can't help it, I just hate seeing typos.

Hi, where is the actual monologue? All I see is summary and excerpt?
