Summary
Ari is a Hollywood agent who represents movie star Vincent Chase. Amanda Daniels is a talent manager who represented Vincent Chase at some point when Vincent and Ari had a falling out. Now Ari has been offered the job of studio head of Disney and is not sure if he wants to give up his career as an agent and his clients. Vincent Chase, because his last movie flopped miserably, isn't landing many roles. He now wants a role in the movie "Smokejumpers" pretty badly. "Smokejumpers" is being produced by Disney. If Ari accepts the job, Vincent will be able to star in the movie. If he doesn't accept the job, the second choice for studio head will be Amanda, who hates Vincent...
In this scene Ari goes to Amanda's office to make amends. The point of the scene is, Ari asks her to give Vincent the lead in "Smokejumpers" if he bows out of the race for the job as studio head. She'll be studio head, Vincent will get the role in "Smokejumpers". She reacts pretty badly and the amend turns into an argument with Ari walking out of the office telling her that he'll accept the job just to spite her...
