Summary
Richard Strickland is an executive who works at a secret government research facility in the 60s. He was in charge of studying a mysterious amphibious creature that was held captive in the facility. The creature now has been stolen and Strickland’s superior, General Hoyt, considers him responsible. Strickland tells him that he is a “decent” man who has always done right and failed only this time.
