Summary

Barry Champlain is a radio show host in Dallas, Texas. His late night show is controversial because of his straightforward attitude and political views. His show is about to go nationwide but he has to deal with several problems. The management of the network wants to change the contents of his show, he is being alienated by his wife and has to deal with death threats from a neo-nazi group. Eventually at the end of the movie Barry lets it all out and in this monologue he tells his audience how much he hates them.

Excerpt
Barry: "Hold the calls. I'm here, I'm here every night, I come up here every night. This is my job, this is what I do for a living. I come up here and I do the best I can. I give you the best I can. I can't do better than this. I can't. I'm only a human being up here..."
