Therry Dramatic Society

Set at the Meadowbrook Health Resort, a converted mansion in the main office, formerly the drawing room, the play opens with a prologue where we see the owner being mysteriously murdered. This is a madcap murder mystery.
Roles Available:
The new owner, LADY RIVERDALE, also owner of "Lady Riverdale Chocolates" - a lady with a questionable past who has hired a very strange array of characters around her. Why?
There's the new manager of the resort, JOHN STONE, who has no experience whatsoever. Um! He is quick-witted and finds everything absurd.
DYSLEXIA (does that tell you something?): Lady Riverdale's long-suffering secretary.
EDITH CHILES: The well-published chef in charge of the kitchen RALPH DEADWOOD: The gym manager and all-round cad. He knew Lady R in the past.
DICK SIMMERING: The Aarobics instructor - a "Richard Simmons" on heat.
ALFRED MELLOX: A very stiff, rigid and typical butler-type with a clipped British accent. He is in charge of the janitorial staff at the resort.
"SWEET PEA" MEADOWBROOK: Daughter of the late Henry Meadowbrook. Extremely overweight, she seems to be trying to eat herself to death. Her mouth is always full. No-one can understand her except Alfred.
ED PARLOR: Guest of Lady R, he is a writer with a cheery disposition and enjoys the opportunity to try and solve the mysterious deaths.
MARGARET DANIELS: An attractive woman who is trying to write a feature story on the resort for a leading gossip magazine.
ANNE: The resort nurse who tends to panic at the slightest injury.
