AUDITIONS FOR THE PHOENIX THEATRE’S 2019-2020 SEASON

The Phoenix Theatre is holding general auditions for their inaugural season of The Tempest and The Glass Menagerie on Friday, April 26th from 6pm to 9pm and Saturday, April 27th from 12pm to 5pm.  Callbacks for The Tempest will be May 4th from 12pm to 5pm.  Callbacks for The Glass Menagerie will be scheduled at a later date.  Auditions will be held at SALT Performing Arts, 1645 Art School Road, Chester Springs, PA.  We are looking for Equity and Non-Equity actors. Equity actors will be under the Special Appearance Agreement with a weekly salary of $254/week. Non-Union actors will be paid $150/week.

Rehearsals for The Tempest are June 11th, 2019 to July 4th, 2019 with performances beginning July 5th, 2019 and ending July 21, 2019. Performances are Friday evenings, Saturday matinees and evenings, and Sunday evenings. Rehearsals will be in the evenings during the week and daytimes on the weekends.  Rehearsals will take place in the Chester County Area with performances taking place at SALT Performing Arts in Chester Springs, PA. All actors are responsible for their own transportation.

Rehearsals for The Glass Menagerie are December 27th, 2019 to January 16th, 2020 with performances beginning January 17th, 2020 and ending February 2nd, 2020.  Performances are Friday evenings, Saturday matinees and evenings, and Sunday evenings. Rehearsals will be in the evenings during the week and daytimes on the weekends. Rehearsals will take place in the Chester County Area with performances at SALT Performing Arts in Chester Springs, PA.  All actors are responsible for their own transportation.
