Seeking 6 actors/ 3 actresses for satire.
About: A provincial government receives notice of a forthcoming visit of a government inspector, immediately inciting panic amongst the provincial government fearing reprisals for their corruptness and bungling of duties. As fear heightens they mistakenly take a debt-laden lowly government official as the inspector and begin fêting him in an attempt to mask their true nature, inversely the lowly government worker uses his new found power to borrow large sums of money and commit other misdeeds as each side vastly misjudges the other. The play ends with the lowly official departing as a hero, and the provincial government uncovering their folly just as the notice reaches them that the actual government inspector has arrived, sealing their doom.

Type/Restrictions: 20-25, some movement experience.
Time Commitment: 50 hours of rehearsal beginning in September, performances Sunday at 7 p.m. in October (2, 9, 16, 23)
