He knows that since the mother is difficult, so he is sensible for many things. Dave is kind, so he notices the change of Gery, and he doesn’t want him became worse. Dave helps Gery, but he helps in some wrong way. Dave is the bridge between Ashley and Gery. After he knows the truth he wanted the family to become better, so he tried his best to let his mother forgive his father and adopt Gery.
Gery	Male	Any	18-24	Gery didn’t know his father before. His mother was the mistress of Dave’s father. He grew up with his mother’s parents. He didn’t feel any love from his parents.
ASHLEY	Female	Any	35-45	Ashley is a single mother. She owns a small restaurant. She is a brave and independent woman. She hates her husband, and she wants her son everything is the best. • She knows what did her husband do and know Gery. She helped Gery furtively after he lost his family, but she avoids to let others know what she did. There has a conflict in her deep mind. She felt Gery was sick, and she has a love for the child, but she cannot forgive her husband. • At last, she influenced by Dave, and she adopts Gery
