The course of one sole event becomes a part of a hidden agenda in a folder on Sam's laptop, and memory. She tells a story from her own point of view, and describes an unforgettable event that took place in her life. A sudden decision was taken by a rebel, a teenager. Samantha is hit by the power of 1000 Volts of love, and decides to take charge of destiny in her hands by having a special party on her 18th birthday. Samantha calls all her close friends the moment her family walks out the door, going on a vacation. A series of simple phone calls and text messages become an open invitation to attend a wedding, and a sudden arrangement for a reception party in a simple backyard of a family's home in Cornwall, Ontario. The issue of getting married young becomes a funny tug of war, and a debate among these childhood friends. and uninvited guests including the nosey neighbor, and the grandparents. The wedding goes on against all odds, and circumstances but the outcome holds a bigger surprise when the “I do's” take place in the ceremony.
