AUDITIONS

Slant of Light Theater Company is pleased to announce auditions
for their premiere 2011/2012 Rail Against the Headlines production.

About:
Seeking actors of various ages, ethnicities, and experiences for interview based theatre project. In an immersive collaborative effort, actors will work with director and designers to interview individuals and portray real life characters. Play will be created and edited by all members of the cast and will incorporate movement and song. No prior journalistic experience required.

When:
Tuesday, August 23rd 2011 6-11pm (by appointment only)
Thursday, August 25th 2011 6-11pm (by appointment only)
Monday, August 29th 2011 6-11pm (by appointment only)

Where:
1042 Broad Street (entrance on John Street), Bridgeport, CT 06604. (Train access via Metro North, two blocks from train station.

Prepare:
Please prepare a 2-minute contemporary text and be prepared to move.

Rehearsals:
Rehearsal period begins September 12. Rehearsals will be primarily weeknights and weekends in CT. (Train access via Metro North.)

Pay: $80 stipend (non-negotiable and inclusive with rehearsals and
performances).
