Description:
SMC (Shakespeare's Motley Crew) is holding auditions for our 7th year of Midsummer Mayhem. MM is a short series of Shakespeare scenes highlighting a central theme (this year "Bowie"). Performances are July 19-21 in Horner Park and all 4 weekends in August (Friday thru Sunday) in Winnemac Park. Rehearsals will begin in early June in Ravenswood. MM will be directed by William Sidney Parker.
We are seeking all ages and types. We are also seeking an actor interested in being a Master of Ceremonies to open and close the performance. SMC offers a stipend.
Auditions will be held on Tuesday 5/14 and Wednesday 5/15.
Material To Prepare:
Actors should prepare one Shakespeare monologue of any type.
