Description:
While Eve Ensler's play The Vagina Monologues focused solely on cis women and their relationship to their vaginas, this comedic riff on the play seeks to explore the varied and rich experiences of a greater scope of marginalized people and the unique relationships we have with our bodies.
Who We Are Looking For
We are a creative team of women and non-binary people seeking to assemble an ensemble of collaborative devisors with improvisation, writing, and performance experience. For this devising team, we are looking for women (both trans and cis), non-binary people of all identities, and trans men.
How does the world perceive my body? What judgments are made about me because of my body? What is complicated about my body? What do I call my body? If you are interested in asking these questions along with us and you identify with any of the identity groups above, please audition!
