Description:
GreatWorks Touring theatre is accepting submissions from non-AEA actors, all ages and ethnicities, for their 2019/20 Fall & Winter productions. Auditions will be held on Sunday, June 2nd and Monday, June 10th in Chicago at the Den Theater in Chicago. Our productions and casts reflect the diversity of our Chicago-area student audiences, so African-American, Asian, and Latinx actors are especially encouraged to submit.
GreatWorks has a roster of fourteen productions for grade school and middle school audiences. The 2019/20 fall line-up includes adaptations of NUMBER THE STARS, LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW, THE BFG, and THE GIVER, a modern comic take on A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and a fast-paced history of America in 50 STATES IN 60 MINUTES, among others.
Our performances occur during school hours, so weekday performance availability is required. Most performances are in Chicagoland, but there are occasional overnight bookings outside of the Chicago area. All roles are paid, with very competitive performance rates.
