The film opens with a montage sequence of a 16-year-old girl engaging in modeling, backpacking, being a businesswoman and lastly a teacher, emphasising how fulfilling and happy her life is. As she's teaching the students, one of them suddenly gives her a handphone as a birthday present, which promptly received a call from her mother. When she answers the call, her mother is wishing her happy birthday, but she realises she is unable to talk into the phone. The next scene reveals the mother celebrating the girl's birthday in a hospital, who has been in coma for many years. The mother presents to her a birthday wish in the form of a drawing, and it is revealed that the above montage sequence is a montage of the daughter fulfilling her mum's birthday wishes for her in the coma.
The whole film is less than 3 min, so the shoot will be relatively short. We hope to shoot on the 2nd week of January. In return for your help, we will acknowledge you in the credits at the end of the short film, and you can use it in your showreel. Transport fees and meals will be provided as well. Reimbursement is also negotiable if needed, though please take note that we are all just students from Wee Kim Wee, so whatever we pay comes out from our own pockets.

|Role Name||Gender||Ethnicity||Age Range||Description|
|16-year-old girl lead||Female||Chinese||18-24||As long as you look 16 and young, it doesn't really matter your age. As can be seen from the synopsis, the character is a go-getter and wants to fulfill many things in her life, but she is trapped in a coma.|
|Mother||Female||Chinese||51-60||In this film, we wanted to explore the strength of a mother's love that keeps her coming back to her daughter's side to ease her suffering. Therefore, we would like to request a 50-60 year old looking woman to play the role of the mother. It would only involve 1 scene, so the shoot involving her will be short, but it is the most crucial scene in our short film, so her role is substantial to the film.|
