Synopsis: The series is a quasi-animated mockumentary that is a mash up between Drunk History and VH1’s I Love The 90s. It centers on Sasha and Condi as they retell, but really reimagine their version of nostalgic 90s moments, and their harrowing days as the only black spots in a sea of white surburbia. While they both come from militant backgrounds, their perspective on the 90s is world’s apart. In Real World-like confessions, they tell wildly different versions of the same moment.
|Role Name||Gender||Ethnicity||Age Range||Description|
|Sasha||Female||African American||32-38||a woman who has dedicated her life to uplifting black people, even if often her efforts have been unsolicited and absurd; she is quite delusional, even though she has the best of intentions; her uniform: Africa-shaped earrings, a modest tribal head wrap, and a solid color hoodie. The role will mainly require the actor to speak confessional-style toward the camera, so the actor will need to be completely off book. We are filming three 5-10 minute episodes in two ten-hour days.|
|Condi||Female||Any||32-38||the clear headed and sharper one of the two; she is the rebuttal to Sasha’s delusions of grandeur, and tells it like it is because one should, not because one wants only to leave behind a legacy of impact; she is a new mother, and no longer has time for the BS. The role will mainly require the actor to speak confessional-style toward the camera, so the actor will need to be completely off book. We are filming three 5-10 minute episodes in two ten-hour days.|
