Director: Ada Vaughan. In search of creative minds in exploring new appreciative ways of an ancient art, Kabuki.
You can pick any Kabuki character and present it in any dance/music form for no more than 1 min. Please include name, contact and his/her chosen Kabuki character and play in the beginning of your version on a sample clip. Provide your link to casadeada@yahoo.ca before Jan 10 th, 2011.
Successful candidate will be contacted before mid March, 2011
Minimum of 4 choreographers/dancers/composers/musicians are needed for series of shorts re western interpretation of Kabuki based on bios of various characters of a feature film project, Suki. Each short showcases each performer's individual style under director's guidance.
This collaborative effort may continue onto big screen and even the next project Crystals, a musical sci fi.
