We are looking for the 6 main characters.
All vocal parts might prove challenging, as the atmosphere of the music carries an Eastern Christian flavour. A good sense of rhythm, harmony and general interest in unconventional melodies will be a definite bonus.
The project is on a profit share / percentage basis.
The benefits, though, for all involved will be much greater - there are a number of steps, already in progress, that will make the musical much more than just a stage production:
We have just finished mixing and mastering of the backing tracks of the 12 songs and 10 instrumentals.
The first step is to make studio recordings of all the songs with the successful applicants, which will later lead to the release of an album with the complete soundtrack of the musical, as well as pitching selected tracks to radio stations. The next step is to record a version of a radio drama planned to be released around Easter. The stage performance itself will take place during Easter week; it will be filmed, and an edited version will be presented to a publisher. There will be some press coverage throughout the process, photo shoots, and of course proper accreditation and plenty of showreel materials.
It is a demanding project and we need to be on schedule, so please apply only if you have a serious interest in getting on board and are willing to donate your time and talent to all activities mentioned above, including short notice availability and a passionate determination.
