Description:
Four times a year, Underscore Theatre produces the Tiny Storefront Concert Series: a high-energy, BYOB evening of new songs by emerging musical theatre writers, all arranged around a core theme. This August, Tiny Storefront is going late-night with a saucy, celebratory, unapologetically fabulous Burlesque-themed show!
Seeking: 5 powerhouse singers of all gender identities, with experience in drag and/or burlesque performance. Comfort with audience interaction and partial nudity is a plus.
There will be an intimacy choreographer with burlesque experience present at all rehearsals, and Underscore Theatre strongly advocates NIOH actor safety standards.

Time Commitment:
Evening rehearsals July 21st, 28th; August 4th, 5th, and 8th
Performances at 10pm on August 9th and 10th
Actors will be expected to be off-book for performance, but will receive materials in advance.
Material To Prepare:
32 bars total of a contemporary musical theatre piece that you think would make a great Burlesque number. Video submissions only, due Monday 5/6.
