'How Are You' is a short film produced by students from the Queensland University of Technology. Great opportunity to display acting ability without heavy use of verbal dialogue. A copy of the film will be provided and can be used as part of portfolio or show reel.

Dan, a professional photographer, has always been a man in charge of his own universe, however after being diagnosed with a degenerative eye condition, he decides to start helping others as a way of coping with his sense of loss.

Jessie a cheery, young country girl has moved to the city to be with her boy friend. However the relationship continues to deteriorate, with Jessie contemplating whether to end it and head back home.

When both their paths cross, emotions run high, intentions get misunderstood as Jessie struggles to understand why a total stranger would care about her.

In our age of social disconnection, it’s so easy to just walk by but what are the possibilities if we just stop in our tracks and ask: How Are You?
