LEAD/PRINCIPLE CHARACTERS:
Ken Noda (30s-40s)-Male. Detective. Japanese-American, no-nonsense. Sharply dressed, clean-shaven. All about the details. Glosses over the personal/human element of each of his cases. Must have driver's license and be willing to drive vehicle in film.
Angela Mitchell (late 30s)-Female. Small, homely mother of 15 year old Rebecca Mitchell. Her good looks are worn away from tragic loss and a history of drug abuse. Has a Long Island accent.
David Mooney (early 50s)-Male. A scruffy and balding detective in a small town. Has seen one too many crime scenes in his time.
Ana Baker (60s)-Female. Graying hair in a bun. Conservatively dressed. She discovers the body of the murdered girl and uses her sway in the town to put together a funeral and memorial because "nobody should leave this world without someone to mourn them."
