Maven Academy Entertainment Company is casting for female women between the ages of 18-30. It is an "out-of-the box" film portraying the lives of four young women. We are also looking for crew members with some experience with cameras, lighting, sound, etc. And if you are a musician and want to get your music out to a wider audience, we would love to hear a few tracks that would be added to the film in post-production during club scenes, love scenes, and dramatic scenes! If you have talent or a passion for the arts let’s work together to produce an outstanding project!
This gig does not pay, but it is a great opportunity to gain more experience with working in front of the camera, building your portfolio and networking and meeting enthusiastic and energetic people.

A short synopsis: This short film is about the problems and encounters that some lesbians face. It is a drama about Angela, a Hispanic woman, 22, who is a bartender in a lesbian club. She gets involved in an affair with another female that is abusive and addicted to cocaine. While turning to her friend for support they form a sexual relationship that is "unacceptable" to the community and they must hide it.
