PLOT:

A successful NYC businesswoman, living in a profound existential emptiness, confronts her internal demons when ancestral teachings are revealed to her about the mysteries of the Universe, the world and her self through the sacred Mayan book, the POPOL VUH.


CHARACTERS:

SHAWN SLADE
A young and handsome African-American man in his late 20s who likes to wear fine expensive clothes and gear. He is intelligent and an overall nice guy, but is ambitious and eager to climb the corporate ladder.

AYUMI DAREDEMO
An Asian-American girl in her 20s. She wears her straight black hair loose. She dresses well, is very professional and proper, and has good manners. She is eager to please, but has a razor-sharp intelligence.

LITTLE LUNA YOUNG
A beautiful blondish girl between 4-6 years old. She wears pink corduroy overalls, a girlie blouse and white Nike sneakers. A plus if she can speak both English and Spanish and is able to swim.

GINO VICENZO
An Italian tough but likeable guy, in his 30s – 40's. He dresses as good as the occasion needs.

RODO
A Latino worker-class woman in her 40s. She is a Spanish Speaking person who lacks refinement of culture, but has a good heart.

DON SALVATORE
An old husky white man in his 80s, who wears glasses and normally wears the official working uniform of his company, “Orza Bakery”. In spite of his age, he seems healthy and strong. He is intelligent and refined culturally but is humble, and his heart is bigger than life...

RITA,
A girl from any ethnicity in her 20's who works in Orza as the counter attendant.


FEATURE BACKGROUND:

A GUY
Can have any ethnic background. He should be handsome in his 20's-30's. He is at a rooftop bar and he bumps against the star of the movie. He is carrying cocktails in each hand and she causes him to drop the drinks all over his shirt. He turns back and insults her.
