Description:

We are searching for a lead role in our film. An elderly lady aged between 45 – 65 years old with acting experience.

We are also looking for two minor roles:
* An elderly man ages between 45 - 65 (non-speaking role)
*A young boy aged between 8 - 14 (non-speaking role)

Synopsis:
Perfect is a story about an elderly woman mourning the loss of her family. She deals with their deaths by trying to re-create her old life, back when everything was perfect. In order to achieve this, she kidnaps and paralyses Mr. Barnes keeping him captive in her home. As she lives in denial how will Mr Barnes escape from her perfect yet pretentious world?

Character Brief:
The ‘WOMAN’ used to have the perfect life, a loving husband and a proud son, until their horrific car accident killing them both turned her life into turmoil. Now, a year later, the Woman tries to enjoy the simple things in life. She goes to Church every week and watches her favourite gameshow everyday. She likes to be control and believes the glass is always half full.

Mr. Barnes is being held captive by the Woman, she paralyses him by injecting him regularly with a paralytic drug.
He is aware of what is happening to him, but is unable to do anything about it.

The little boy was abducted by the lady, and held captive.
He has no idea what has just happened to him.


We will be filming September 18th – 20th on the Gold Coast and auditions will be from 8th - 15th September at JMC Academy (75 Grey Street, South Brisbane, 4101). The role is unpaid.
