Director: Atanas Bakalov. Actors Needed for Indie Short shot in Western CT-- Sept. 10-12
A short film produced by a Boston University grad student is looking for a Male Lead for the following role:
- SHERMAN, 18, nerd and future computer programmer.
The role calls for an audacious actor with strong comedic talent. Actors over the age of 25 will NOT be considered.
This is a short romantic comedy along the lines of Paul Weitz's 'American Pie.' The story deals with the tribulations of two ostracized teenagers who ultimately find their happiness together. The shoot will take place between Sept. 10 and Sept. 12 in Western CT.
An audition for this role will be held on Saturday, August 28 from 7 to 10 pm in Manhattan. To be considered, please send an email to loversleapcasting@gmail.com. Include a head shot and a resume as well as a preferred time slot for the audition. Sides from the script and the specific address of the studio will be provided two days in advance.
This is a Non-Paid opportunity. However, the production will defray all transportation costs and provide accommodation, meals, and a copy of the final product. SAG/AFTRA members are welcome to apply!
