DETAILS: Affairs To Remember, a Sacramento based production company founded in 1989, announces casting their next interactive comedy murder mystery, “Gold Fever!”. The show is a broad comic spoof of the gold rush with a murder mystery built in. Actors perform a combination of scripted scenes and improvised scenes interacting with the audience in this fun show with a minimal rehearsal and performance schedule.

The script calls for 3 men and 2 women with an age range of 25 to 55 years old. Improvisation and singing experience is preferred. Roles available include: John Sutter, his wife Anna; millionaire, Sam Brannan; exotic performer, Lola Montez and Gabby Croker, a gold miner.

Performances will be on Saturdays in Sept. 25 to Oct. 16 at the Holbrooke Hotel in Grass Valley with other venues to be added. Rehearsals will be one to two week day evenings per week and begining in August at the Holbrooke Hotel.

Actors will be paid for each performance.
