Description:

BEARING FRUIT- After complications arise during the birth of their first born, Linda Rodriguez-Hernandez and her husband Roberto learn that they will be unable to provide any future siblings for their daughter. They turn to Magdalena, the ardently religious family matriarch, in order to persuade Linda's older sister, Esperanza, into being their surrogate by imposing the family's cultural values on her. After Esperanza agrees to be their surrogate complications arise. The story is a character study into some of the pertinent philosophical questions that have emerged from Man?s use of modern technology. The interpersonal struggles of the Rodriguez family will allow the audience to ponder and experience the relationship between science and ethics, causing us to contemplate and define the parameters between human individuality and the collective units that structure our society.

Adriana Garza Productions work has been featured in GLAMOUR magazine, won her the Toyota Moving Forward Award, won the Paulo Coelho International Film competition, premiered at the Rome Film Festival and has helped create awareness of the Global Water Crisis. Description: She is the strong and ardently religious family matriarch in her 50?s who helps Linda persuade Esperanza into agreeing to the surrogacy. She is an overbearing mother who ultimately comes to terms with her past loss and learns to love her daughters again without controlling their lives.

Solomon Rodriguez
Co-Star / Male / Hispanic / 50 - 60 years

Description: Solomon Rodriguez is Linda and Esperanza's introspective father. He is the passively strong patriarch in his 50?s who masks his insightful wisdom with humor and hard work. He is constantly being tested by his wife's persistance that Esperanza bear Linda's second child.
