Description:
Open Door Repertory Company in Oak Park is seeking four inventive, honest, playful non-union actors for the musical revue Route 66. Strong personalities, great singing voices, solid comic tming and strong harmony skills are a plus.
To audition, please film approximately 32 bars (each) of two contrasting musical theatre songs in the style of the show. Feel free to sing from the score.
All roles are oepn. While these are scripted as male, we're very open to casting female-identifying and transgender folks. Persons of color are encouraged to audition.
Scot/Tenor I: Approx. Vocal Range: D - Bb (F#); Very Strong Falsetto. Helpful if there some guitar skill.
Andy/Tenor II: Approx. Vocal Range: C - G (Db); Also Strong Falsetto
Brandon/Baritone-Tenor/Bass: Approx. Vocal Range: (A) B - E(with strong G): Sings low in many songs, many solos in tenor range
Michael/Baritone/Bass: Approx. vocal Range: G - F; Vocally sings ball line; most solos are in bari-tenor range

Performance Schedule: Friday and Saturday Nights at 8 PM; Sundays at 3 PM
