Description:
"Uneven Strings" is a short romantic comedy filming in the Boston area in the coming months.
Auditions will be held July 25-31 (exact days TBD)
Auditions will be held at 73 Tremont St., Boston, MA - TV Studio
We are seeking non-union actors for an unpaid job. You will receive a DVD, credit, and meals. Upon completion, the film will be entered into Film Festivals across the country.

Characters:
ANDY (early - mid twenties)
Andy is our protagonist. He is a clean cut male who is in his early twenties. He has an inability to ever come to a decision about anything in his day to day life but has a generally happy disposition. He’s had a girlfriend for the past few years, who he loves, but a new girl comes along and he is forced to make a difficult decision between the two.
NATE (early - mid twenties)
Nate is Andy’s best friend. He is a male in his early twenties, scruffy in appearance and immature. He lives his life a day at a time and doesn’t sweat the small stuff. Although, he begins to become agitated at his friend being unable to ever some to a decision so he aids him in doing so.
STACY (early - mid twenties)
Stacy is best friends with Andy and Nate. She is a “guy’s girl”. She doesn’t have any friends that are girls, but she wishes she did. She is slightly taller than the other girls in the cast, a bit of a tomboy. She, with Nate, helps Andy in his predicament, providing a little female advice to counter Nate’s male’s advice.
LAURA (early-mid twenties, any ethnicity
Laura is Andy’s girlfriend. She is nice and sweet and pleasant with long blonde hair. It is a minor role, but an important one. She is innocent and just wants to be comfortable in her life, but is beginning to get suspicious at Andy’s true intentions.
SARAH (early-mid twenties, any ethnicity)
Sarah is the girl who Andy falls in love with immediately and forces him to consider breaking up with Laura for her. She is an artsy petite brunette in her early twenties with a level head on her shoulders. She is more mature than the rest of the young cast.
GARY (30-50 years old, any ethnicity)
Gary is happily married and works at a bar with Andy. He gives advice to help the protagonist.
