When Camilla immigrated to the United States from her home of Brazil, she wanted nothing more than to create the best life she could for her daughter, Victoria. Every sacrifice made as a young single mother was made more than worth it by being able to give her daughter everything she could ask for. Now, Victoria has been admitted to the school of her dreams, and she must leave her best friend and mother behind. In an attempt to bond with her daughter before she moves, Camilla plans a road trip across Florida’s coast. Every stop planned leads to a little adventure and a chance to be together. Along the way Camilla not only needs to learn how to say goodbye to her only daughter, but also how to move on with a life that has not been solely her own in 18 years.
