She wants to start her own clothing line someday…or at least open a chain of fashion stores. For now, she manages a second-hand store. Unlike Gabby, she wants to have as much success as possible and make as much money as she can so she can live life to the fullest. Gabby frustrates Arianna to no end. She understands Gabby’s apathetic outlook on life due to their father’s absence and mother being constantly busy with her work. But Arianna sees Gabby as a person with no ambition. She sees the Non-profit is a waste of time (as does their mother) and she thinks Gabby’s friends, namely Paige, is nothing more than a bully and a bad person (and she’s mostly right). |Nettie White (The Old Knitty)||Female||Caucasian||35-65||Nettie died when she was in her 60’s, a talented seamstress who was also known to knit the other workers garments of clothing and give them away as gifts because many could not afford them otherwise. Many affectionately nicknamed her “Knitty” for her amazing talents. Nettie was the one bright spot in an otherwise horrible environment where workers slaved for hours on end with little to no rest in between. On March 25th, 1911, the unspeakable happened. A fire broke out on the top floor of the building. With all exits locked (to keep workers from taking breaks or theft) many were trapped on the sweatshop main floor with no means of escape. Many of the workers jumped to their death from out of the windows, while the rest were burned alive by the flames. But not, Nettie. Being the only place she had come to know as home during her waning years, and the love for her coworkers now being cooked alive, Nettie took a seat in her rocking chair, picked up her knitting needles, and knitted her last garment as death closed in from all around. They say she didn’t even cry out in agony as the flames engulfed her body and seared the flesh from her bones. Her spirit has remained within the building walls, and for more than a hundred, she has waited to exact revenge for the horrible crimes against her and her co-workers. With Maxwell and his company now inhabiting the very rooms she and the others died, and with the launch of the Telescope online, Knitty is now able to transfer her spirit to anywhere in the world. She just needs one person to start the chain of events which will lead her to revenge. And that person is Gabby.|

Gabby helps her with her homework (basically doing it for her) and Paige protects Gabby from her bullies who relentlessly torment her. Gabby’s father left at an early age, and her mother, a successful businesswoman is constantly away. This has also caused them to be uprooted many times and made it very difficult for Gabby and Arianna to establish close ties with anyone. `Arianna, Gabby’s older sister, has literally become her surrogate mother.
