Synopsis:
UFL is a web series sitcom about an all city intramural full contact frisbee league that starts from a rival game between two rag tag groups in Clark Park. Who will win it all?


Character BIOS:

[HENRY MACDOUGAL] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: Late 20's] [Thin athletic build, Brown eyes, Brown "shaggy" unkempt hair, Round face]

Leader of the Ruesters, Joker, living on inherited property, underachiever, self-educated, sloppy dresser


Henry was orphaned in his teens when his parents died during an earthquake while on vacation in California. His father owned property all over Philadelphia which Henry inherited and is now his sole source of income, other than brewing beer and growing weed.

Henry is that guy with lots of big ideas but little follow through. Always has a joke, this is his chief defensive mechanism for dealing with life. He doesn't want to talk about life seriously because being an orphan is about all the serious he can take. He is an intelligent person, when alone he reads often. He never went to college (already having his father's money) but has given himself a quality education in philosophy, history, art, and beer brewing.



[ANGELA LUNAS] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: Early 20's] [Red head, Short, Green eyes, hair usually tied back in a tangled tail]

On again/Off again girlfriend of Henry, artist, pot dealer, hipster, dresses hipster chic.

Angela was raised in suburbia in a 'leave it to beaver' household until she moved to Pphilly for community college. She has an associate degree in fine arts and sees herself as a 'digital sculpture', creating 3-d images, "the art of the new millennia". She earns money by selling weed that Henry grows. Suffers from 'short man syndrome'.



[KYLE ANTHNOG] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: Mid 20's] [Black, Shaved head, wire rim glasses, goatee]

Kyle is a friend of Angela's from community college. He's an environmental activist (who doesn't actually act). Dresses nerd chic.


Kyle always had a "thing" for Angela. He is a liberal supporter of any cause that comes along but rarely actually does anything. He dreams of being a musician and has an AA degree in music production. He spends days in the park playing guitar, writes beautiful lyrics and songs but has no business sense.



[SHELLY LOWENTHAL] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: Mid 20's] [Blonde, average looking, hard core personality]

Shelly is a sarcastic waitress who sees herself as a poet. She is a film buff who loves and knows all types of movie although horror is her secret favorite.

She's a dreamer, and is interested in Kyle mainly for her love of his lyrics.

Shelly was born to single mother. Her father died in 1st gulf war.


[TOM JACKSON] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: Late 20's] [Black, close shaved hair, "clothes make the man" type"]

Tom is Henry's oldest friend. He's a responsible businessman who is in a serious relationship with a woman


Tom has a ten point plan for his future which maps out life till retirement. He believes in honor, loyalty, respect, education and hard work.


He grew up in the Philadelphia bad-lands, mom was a whore, dad was a drug dealer. Both died when he was 12 in drive-by. Met Henry while in social services.



[LEWIS BALLIKER] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: Late 20's] [Blonde, tall, "frat boy" type]

Lewis is the leader of Monarchs. He is an uptight and arrogant accountant.


Lewis is the son of rich parents who made their money in banking. He's a frat boy (alpha sigma sigma) who attended University for accounting because "everyone has money to be counted"

He's dismissive of others and as a result often misses important info because he doesn't listen. Speaks in a stiff, phony accent



[STEVEN FONDLER] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: Late 20's] [Brunette, Green eyes, "frat boy" type]

Steven is a genius that no one listens to. He attends Penn for Pre-Law.

Steven and Lewis grew up in the same neighborhood and are best friends. Loyalty keeps him with lewis. Steve is actually a nice guy who wants to become a Public defender to "help people" but has never told Lewis because he doesn’t want the argument.

He likes Marianne.



[MARIANNE SHULTZ] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: Mid 20s] [Caucasian female]

Marianne is a spoiled, Princess type who hangs around Lewis hoping to marry his money.

She is from upstate NY and is the daughter of a mother who married a banker for his money.

Marianne got into college because of her parents money and is pursuing a degree in marketing.

She spends more time on her diet and exercise than studies. She is very competitive.

Marcus is announcer #1, funny, potbelly, amateur comedian, husband to Christie. During the game the two announcers will be making a joke of the sports announcer concept by playing at being sports announcers. They should be able to interact with each other well as a comic team, and they should be able to improv well off events occurring in front of them.



[CHRISTIE] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: Mid 30's] [Brunette]

Christine is Marcus's wife and is announcer #2, funny, amateur comedian. During the game the two announcers will be making a joke of the sports announcer concept by playing at being sports announcers. They should be able to interact with each other well as a comic team, and they should be able to improv well off events occurring in front of them.
