Need: 4 African American male singer/actor, ages 14-21.
ABOUT THIS MUSICAL
Braving police brutality, high-pressure fire hoses, vicious dogs, racist taunts, and jail time, Birmingham school students march to reignite a stalled Civil Rights Movement. As we currently witness youth standing at the forefront of the Black Lives Matter and the March for Our Lives movements, this musical tells the story of the unsung heroes of the Birmingham Children's Crusade of 1963.
CAST OF CHARACTERS
*This musical has 8 roles: 4 principal roles and 4 supporting ensemble roles (ensemble members play multiple characters). We are currently casting male roles only.
CURTIS McDowell, fifteen-year-old African American male, wannabe ladies' man who is chronically late.
SCOTTY Wilson, seventeen-year-old African American male, athlete.
