AUDITIONS
Monday & Wednesday
April 22 & 24, 2019
Bring a school photo/headshot and a resume.
Check in starts at 5:30pm
6-7pm children ages 8th grade and under
7-10pm high school-adults
Walk-ins will be accommodated as time allows. Roles may be double cast.
CALLBACKS BY INVITATION ONLY
Saturday, April 27, 2019
Between 9-5pm
Not everyone in the cast will receive a callback.

Children ages 8th grade and under -
Audition together from 6-7pm, wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to learn a short dance combination. Arrive by 5:45pm to check in. An adult is required to stay in the waiting room during the child's audition.
High School age & Adults
Prepare 32 Bars of a song from a similar style show and bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. A one minute comedic monologue is required for anyone auditioning for Shrek, Princess Fiona, Donkey & Lord Farquaad.
In-person auditions are recommended, but college students and adults who cannot attend auditions may email a headshot, resume and an mp4 file, meeting the above requirements, to producers@stjamestheatre.org. Video deadline submission is 5pm on April 22, 2019.

Rehearsals
Are held at St James Parish in Arlington Hts with possible offsite rehearsals in the same area. Rehearsals begin Sunday, May 5, 2019.
Shrek the Musical is Directed by Kevin Wiczer with Choreography by Kristine Burdi & Maggie Dominick with Musical Direction by Bryan McCaffrey. The show is produced by Tony Calzeretta & Sue Hussey and a large production team.
Material To Prepare:
A short dance sequence will be taught to everyone auditioning.
