Casting Call for a Student Short Film

A Quest Actors Studio is committed to casting, filming and producing Student Short Films every 4 to 6 weeks. A Quest Actors Studio will have open calls and will cast the best actors for roles that we are casting for. Top consideration will be given to acting students who are studying at A Quest Actors Studio.

4 Lead Roles

1 Male to 40's to late 50's easily charming, strikingly handsome, intellegent, humorous and cunning
1 Female Late 30s to Late 40's smart, well read, well traveled, witty, funny & romantic
1 Female 30's Hot Co-worker
1 Female 30's to late 40'sFriend

A comedy

Actors should be prepared to present 1 one minute dramatic monologue and 1 one minute comic monologue and read sides directly from the script.

Audition Date: Thurs 6/3/10
Time: 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM

Actors will probably only need 15 min to 30 min max for the actual audition. Sides will be available on the day of the audition at 5pm. The sides will not be sent out in advance. Actors should come at the time frame that works for them between 5:30pm to 7:00pm. We are not booking appointments, but come as early as you can to have time to look at the script. We will not see actors before 5:30pm.

24 New Derby St at Artists Row in the Mamadou's Boabab Space & Debra Crosby's A Quest Actors Studio. Artists Row is across the street from Walgreens and the summer stage for A Quest Actors Studio is next to the Lobster Shanty.

There is no compensation but a copy of the short will be given to all of actors for their demo reel. A Quest Actors Studio will show the short films on our web site and submit the best short films to film festivals.
