Description:
MPAACT announces auditions for the remount of Jeff-nominated Mother of the Dark Water, directed by Lauren Wells, for its touring season.
SYNOPSIS: Inspired by original images of the Black Madonna, five black women decide to reclaim their truth and voices in the normative feminist movement.
CASTING BREAKDOWN
WOMEN:
African American, 20-30, moves well.
Time Commitment:
-1st Rehearsal: 5 July 2018; schedule to be developed based on director and artists' availability
-1st Show: Weekend of 5 September 2018
-Other shows to be announced soon
-These will be PAID performances that will also include a per diem and travel accommodations
-Actors MUST be available to travel and stay overnight for the production
