Project Title | Piper’s Pitch - A Fairytale for Adults |
Description:
Reading Theater Project is looking for a male, non-union, actor to replace their lead in an original musical based on The Pied Piper of Hamlin. Music composed by Chris Heslop. Directed by Joel Richard Gori.
Piper’s Pitch - A Fairytale for Adults, will be performed September 28 - 30 and October 5 – 7, 2018. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8:00pm. Sunday performances will be matinees. Estimated time for production is two hours.
Casting a male actor for the role of the Piper. Age range is 35 to 55. Tenor or Baritone.
The Piper is charismatic, at times sincerely evangelical-like, a politician, shrewd and sinister.
Actor stipend is available.
Rehearsals begin August 14, 2018 and will follow the listed general outline with some variations.
Tuesday through Thursday evenings (6:30 - 10:00pm) and Saturday afternoons /early evenings (time TBD).
