Description:

The Resident Theatre Company (RTC), a new professional company in West Chester, PA is casting actor/singers for their fall production of Evita. Directed by Kristin McLaughlin Mitchell, and choreographed by Dann Dunn.

Auditions will be on Monday, June 18th in Philly, 11 – 2pm.


Seeking Non-Equity Actors

Rehearsals start on September 17th 2018 (mostly daytime rehearsals), show opens on Friday, October 12th and closes October 28th with a possible extension to November 4th. Performances Wednesday – Sunday (6 show week)

Kristin McLaughlin Mitchell (director) is the Founding Artistic Director of The Resident Theatre Company in West Chester, PA. Recently she assistant directed the Broadway Revival of Lend Me a Tenor, directed by Stanley Tucci, receiving critical acclaim for the “curtain call” of Tenor which she staged and directed, (3 Tony nominations including Best Revival of a Play), directed The Incredibly Deaf Musical at The Duke Theatre in NYC as part of NYMTF, Ave. Q at The Geva Theatre (winner Best of Rochester 2012), Spamalot and Next to Normal (winner 10 Best shows of Cape Cod 2013) at The Cape Rep Theatre, Lydia (world première, NYC), and Spamalot (4 Barrymore Award nominations) and Next to Normal (Barrymore recommended) at RTC.
