Description:

Strides, an original full-length play premiering at New Jersey Fringe Festival in Hammonton, NJ on August 3-5, 2018, is seeking two male actors to fill key roles.

Plot Summary: After getting rejected by his best friend who he is in love with, Logan seeks the counsel of his roommate and friends who attempt to drag him out of his depressive spiral with a night in the city. The result, however, is a horrific hate crime that serves as a catalyst for Logan and those around him to reexamine their identities and relationships.

Available Roles:
Greg (Early/Mid-20s, Male) - A simple, down-to-Earth college student who has had secret feelings for Logan for quite sometime and finally acts on them during the course of the show.

Dylan (Early/Mid-20s, Male) - A junior in college, he's been best friends with Logan for a few years. He's complicated, witty and very lovable. He's bisexual but has never been with a guy until the night Logan kisses him. The play centers around the two of them in conflict over how to pursue their relationship.

Rehearsals will take place starting mid-June. Rehearsal schedule is flexible and will be built around actor availability.

Non-paid/Non-union.
