Description:

Eagle Theatre, under the direction of Ted Wioncek III and Ed Corsi, is thrilled to announce auditions for their 2019 Season! The Eagle's 2019 Season will operate under a SPT Level 6 AEA Contract. All productions will be a 6 week contract (rehearsals and performances combined). Performances are 4 week runs in 2019.

RAGTIME - A Musical by Terrence McNalley, Lynn Ahrens, and Stephen Flaherty. Performances are January 24 – February 17, 2019. Rehearsals begin on January 6, 2019.

NATIVE GARDENS, A new play by Karen Zacarias. March 21 – April 14, 2019,. Rehearsals begin on March 4, 2019.

THE BURNT PART BOYS, A Musical by Mariana Elder, Chris Miller, and Nathan Tysen, May 30 – June 23, 2019. Rehearsals begin on May 12, 2019.

GARY, A World Premiere play by Bruce Graham. September 19 – October 13, 2019. Rehearsals begin on September 2, 2019.

DOGFIGHT, A contemporary musical by Pasek and Paul, book by Peter Duchan, Based on Nancy Savoca’s 1991 film. November 14 – December 8, 2019 (no show on Thanksgiving). Rehearsals begin October 27, 2019

We are now accepting Headshots, resumes, and vocal reels for all productions.

An open call for RAGTIME will be held on Saturday May 19th beginning at 10am and running until 6pm (lunch break will be from 1:30pm-2:30pm). AEA members will be seen first, in order of arrival. EMC and Non Union will be seen in order of their arrival after all AEA members are seen. Please prepare one 16 bar cut, from the show or in the style of. We will have the score. Please prepare a 2nd piece as you may be asked for it.

The following roles are cast: Booker T. Washington, Houdini, Mother, and Younger Brother. All other roles are and will remain open. No appointments for this EPA.

We will be holding an EPA this summer for our two plays, NATIVE GARDENS and GARY (Date TBD), but please submit now with interest. All roles are open for both plays.

We will be holding an EPA for THE BURNT PART BOYS and DOGFIGHT, the remaining two musicals, this Fall (Date TBD), but please submit now with interest. All roles are open for both of these musicals.
