Description:
BrightSide Theatre, Naperville's Only Professional Theatre Performing in the Historic Downtown District is seeking an actor who identifies as a female of color who can sing and dance to submit for the role of a "Dynamite/Ensemble" for their upcoming production of HAIRSPRAY The Broadway Musical, directed by Artistic Director Jeffrey Cass and Barry R. Norton, musically directed by Sarah Giordano, and choreographed by Jeni Donahue.
We are seeking actors of all backgrounds, ethnicities, able to commit to the entire length of this production. BrightSide Theatre is an equal opportunity employer and full consideration will be given to actors of all ethnicities, women, seniors and actors with disabilities.
Auditions will be held in Downers Grove at BrightSide Theatre Rehearsal Space
Time Commitment:
Rehearsals will begin April 22 with evening rehearsals (Sunday - Thursday) and take place in Downers Grove. HAIRSPRAY The Broadway Musical will play Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, June 8-24. Both the rehearsal hall and performance space are easily accessible by way of Metra. There is pay.
