SYNOPSIS & CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
Turmoil, Mystification
Synopsis - Four strangers find themselves in The Big Black Box. With the dryness of British humor, the four stumble through reasons as to how they could have ended up in a room that doesn't have a door. Too bad it's the "doors within" that they need to be concerned about...
* Darren (The Writer) - Confident, self-proclaimed leader of the group. He's too busy worry about other people to figure out what's wrong with his own life.
* Winston (The Contemplator) - Winston thinks too much. So to avoid constantly thinking, Winston speaks in long blurbs/monologues, to fill the awkward silence.
* Pandora (The Horse Trainer) - Pandora is pregnant but shows no signs of being so. She doesn't want to have her baby because she doesn't want it to grow up, in her opinion, in a tainted world.
* Lucky (The Unlucky) - Lucky is convinced that the world is against him. So he lives his life constantly fearing the possibility of something unlucky happening to him.
Well, I Guess That's That: The Conundrum of the Last Two Caucasian People on Earth
Synopsis - They're not racist!!! All they know is that before they found themselves in this particular situation they were no other Caucasian people. There were Black people, Asian people, Native American people...but no Caucasian people. Now the last two Caucasian people find themselves in The Big Black Box...and they can't stand each other!
* Richard - Logical. There are things called "checks and balances" and he believes wholeheartedly in that. It takes quite a bit for him to concede in an argument. Ultimately, he wants to use his logic for good.
* Janelle - Realistically optimistic. She believes that hard work will eventually result in positive outcomes. She loves being the person to bring people back to reality, even if that means conceding to an argument.
Right, Wrong & Inbetween
Synopsis - Getting lost in contemplation can be like being trapped in The Big Black Box. Your ideas bouncing between the right, wrong and in between as they pushed against your skull's walls trying to find a way out. What's the definition of schizophrenia again?
*Right - Always tends to think that they are right.
*Wrong - Alright with the possibilities of being wrong.
*Inbetween - Always on the fence. Can easily see both sides to an argument.
*Person - A person that gets lost in their thoughts
Stipend: $50 (With the possibility of making much more...)
