Description:
The Women's Theatre Alliance is seeking actors for our annual New Play Development Workshop. We are especially interested in casting female-identifying and non-binary individuals between the ages of 30 - 70. The actors will be involved in the final stages of our workshop series, which features six incredible Chicago-based playwrights and culminates in a showcase of their work at a May 23rd performance. Tech is also a required commitment on Monday night, May 21st. Each playwright and director team will work on finessing the 10-15 minutes of a brand new play that needs legs - YOU. This is a wonderful opportunity to help new works! Individual directors will coordinate a rehearsal schedule. Some shows will have adult themes and language.
Time Commitment:
Several rehearsals, TBD. One tech, May 21. One performance, May 23.
