Wheaton Drama is holding auditions for Company. Director: Pam Turlow. Music Director: Bryan McCaffrey
March 25-26*, 7-10 PM
*A third night of auditions, March 27, could be added, as demand requires.
Callbacks: March 28, 7 PM
Auditions and callbacks, as well as all performances, will be at 111 N. Hale St., Wheaton, IL.

Characters:
Robert (mid-30s, baritone): Our protagonist; requires a charismatic actor, strong singer.
The Couples. (30s to 50s)
Sarah (alto): Harry's critical wife; karate student. Requires an excellent physical comedienne.
Harry (baritone): Sarah's husband; (sort of) recovering alcoholic. Deft comic timing, physicality.
Susan (mezzo): Peter's perfect wife. A delicate Southern belle, requires a light accent.
Peter (baritone): Susan's perfect husband-and ex-husband.
Jenny (soprano) Quietly manipulative; square yet wise. Loves and indulges her husband, David.
David (Tenor) Jenny's husband; relaxed and always in control.
Amy (alto): Neurotic, engaged to Paul, terrified of marriage. Requires a fearless comic actress.
Paul (tenor): Amy's fiance. Mildly clingy, but patient with Amy. Requires a strong vocalist.
Joanne (alto): Acerbic, demanding, blunt, yet loving. Requires a fearless, dynamic actress.
Larry (tenor): Joanne's husband. Solid and centered, yet able to let his hair down.
The Girlfriends (20s to 30s):
Marta (mezzo): Part muse, part mystic, part Greek chorus. Requires a strong belt voice.
Kathy (mezzo): Robert's ex-girlfriend. Sweet and loving; the "one who got away."
April (mezzo): Flight attendant; alternately ditzy, wise and innocent.
Time Commitment:
Show runs Thursdays through Sundays, May 25 to June 17, 2018. (Tech Week: May 18-24.)
Material To Prepare:
Prepare a 1-minute contemporary monologue and 32 bars of a Sondheim song. Bring sheet music in your key; an accompanist will be provided.
Actors will learn a simple dance combination, so please dress for movement.
